“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang the law and the prophets.’” Matthew 22:36-40.
We are a congregation of regular, everyday people who have been touched by grace and changed by love. We believe that living well means loving well. We believe that “church” is as much a verb as it is a noun, as much a people as it is a place, and as much a way of living as it is a way of believing. We believe in the promise and blessings of heaven, yet we also believe God’s blessings are present to us here and now. We are on a journey together, following Jesus and seeking to model our lives after his. We are on a journey together, discovering that when we serve as Christ for others, we encounter Christ in others. We are on a journey together, discovering that life is truly abundant when lived and shared with others. We are on a journey, and we invite you to journey with us.
No matter who you are, where you’re from, what you look like, or where you are on the journey of faith and doubt, warm hearts welcome you here.
